As you will know my name is Matt and I created
and run Heartagram.org along with help from Asheh
and maintain it with a team of dedicated staff. I've been a fan of the band since
1998 when I found a bootleg of Borellus on the internet and
I realized that there was something different about the music
which I loved. Ever since I have been learning about the band
and the guys and enjoying what they produce.
History
I'm a freelance designer based in Leeds. I have a
large range of skills, which the majority are displayed on my portfolio site www.Matt-Adamson.com. I
have continuously developed these skills and worked to expand my
knowledge on the subjects I specialise in and also branch off to
include new ones. I've worked for several private clients in the multimedia area on a range of different projects and you can find my work in lots of different places, I have even worked for famous clients such as the band My Dying Bride, for whom I shot and edited an awards video for. I also admin and co-admin a range of sites, music websites are listed below with links in my favourite bands list.
Hobbies
I enjoy photography and videography as I've said already. Web
Design and coding in php/mysql and of course html/css. I also
know how to use some basic C++ and Visual Basic coding languages.
I draw quite a lot, most of my designs will end up being taken further and I will develop them into 3D models using Lightwave, 3D Studio Max or Maya, most of this work used to
end up on my deviantart
account but I have stopped adding to this due to their ignorant staff and rules, if your interested in my other work check Matt-Adamson.com.
Another of my big hobbies is music,
I love to listen and play it. I'm in a band called "To
The End" with in which I play guitar and although outside of it I do play bass
as well. Another big use of my time are my friends and my girlfriend
Natalia, I enjoy hanging out with them, going out to the
cinema, going for meals, drinking , staying in on the Xbox, going out at 2am with the video cameras or
whatever else we chose to get up to.
Usually I'm a pretty busy
person with lots of projects and things going on at one time
so sometimes its hard for me to reply quickly to all emails
I get from the site, you will have to forgive me for that one.
I'm an obsessed fan of the Alien and Predator movies and comic
books as well as any other bits of merchandise there is around.
I read quite a lot but mainly just comic books and the odd horror
or sci-fi novel, as I said above I collect Alien and Predator
comics but I also tend to buy Dogwitch, Spawn, Witchblade and
odd others if they look interesting enough. I am also one of the biggest movie fans you will come across, I love to spend my time looking for movies I haven't seen and then analysing them.
